May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Property Management Handyman/Maintenance professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of residential properties. Your expertise will ensure that all facilities operate smoothly, repairs are completed efficiently, and tenant or resident satisfaction remains high. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your diverse maintenance skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and customer service. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment. Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. Maintain building interior spaces through painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and general handyman tasks to uphold quality standards. Manage maintenance painting projects for residential interiors to ensure a professional appearance. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance tasks, and document repairs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or resident concerns promptly and professionally. Follow safety guidelines and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations during maintenance activities. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, carpentry, appliance repair, and building interior maintenance. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interaction. Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in a maintenance setting is preferred. Knowledge of CMMS platforms for work order management is advantageous. Physical ability to perform manual tasks using hand tools and lift heavy objects safely when required. Valid certifications or licenses related to electrical work, HVAC systems, or plumbing are desirable but not mandatory.
