Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Summary A Property Administrator opportunity is available in Edison, NJ for a detail-oriented administrative professional interested in property management, commercial real estate, vendor coordination, and accounting support. This contract/temporary role supports a busy Property Management Team and serves as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, clients, and internal team members. This is a strong opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of administrative, customer service, property management, real estate, or accounting support experience who enjoys staying organized, managing details, and keeping operations running smoothly. The work environment is professional, team-focused, and fast-paced, with supportive leadership and the opportunity to learn property management systems, lease administration processes, vendor onboarding, invoice tracking, and tenant communication. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Property Management Team, including correspondence, filing, scanning, document distribution, mail handling, and office organization. Serve as a professional point of contact for tenants, vendors, clients, and internal team members while supporting positive relationships and timely communication. Process, code, enter, monitor, and track a high volume of monthly invoices, including approximately 300+ invoices per month, for review and approval. Support vendor onboarding, contract tracking, certificate of insurance documentation, lease administration, and related reporting. Maintain accurate electronic and physical files for leases, contracts, vendors, insurance documents, tenants, property records, reports, and confidential information. Assist with meetings, tenant events, property inspections, office supply inventory, spreadsheets, reports, correspondence, and special administrative projects.
Compensation and Benefits Pay rate:
$34 to $36 per hour.
