May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

About Shamco Management At Shamco Management, we are committed to providing exceptional property management services through innovation, operational excellence, and a strong understanding of the communities we serve Position Overview Shamco Management is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties throughout New York. This role is responsible for the operational, financial, and administrative performance of multiple communities while supporting and developing onsite teams. Key Responsibilities Portfolio & Operational Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple residential communities throughout New York. Ensure all properties are maintained in accordance with Company standards, safety expectations, and applicable regulations Conduct regular property visits, inspections, and walkthroughs to evaluate curb appeal, building conditions, vacant units, common areas, and operational performance. Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, delinquency, resident retention, and overall property performance. Oversee vendor performance and ensure quality completion of contracted services Financial Management Assist with annual budgets, reforecasts, and capital planning Review monthly financial reports, variances, accounts receivable, and operating expenses Monitor property performance against budget goals and implement strategies to improve NOI and operational efficiency Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and support Community Managers, Leasing Teams, Superintendents, and onsite staff. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, landlord-tenant regulations, safety requirements, and Company policies Oversee lease administration, renewals, notices, and required property documentation Support the handling of resident escalations, complaints, and sensitive situations in a professional and timely manner Capital Projects & Property Improvements Oversee apartment renovations, building improvement projects, and capital work Coordinate with contractors and maintenance teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Qualifications Minimum 5 years of multi-site residential property management experience required Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience required Strong knowledge of residential property operations, budgeting, leasing, and maintenance coordination Working knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, boilers, elevators, and general renovations Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
