Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Group Home Manager to oversee a large group home (11 clients) in Denville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing group homes and ensuring resident rights and quality care. Must have at least 1 year of experience supervising a group home.
Duties:
  • Supervise and manage a team of staff members who provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure that all residents receive high-quality care and support in accordance with their individual needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for residents.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, promoting a positive work environment and fostering professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to resident rights, safety, and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with external healthcare professionals, such as nurses or therapists, to coordinate medical care for residents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, staff performance, and operational activities.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of employees.
  • Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities and an understanding of their unique needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members. Job Type:

Up to $70,000.00 per year
