Our services include Residential, Employment, Behavioral Support and Recreation. We have programs in Bergen, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Hudson and Passaic counties. Through our support services and advocacy, we empower our clients to continually grow and lead fulfilling lives.
Job Description:
Group Home Managers supervise residential programs for adult men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as complex medical and behavioral support needs. Managers work as a part of a team of professionals, which include; Residential Specialists, Assistant Managers, our agency's team of Managers, Coordinators, and Directors. Group Home Managers uphold Everas standards by ensuring that the agency's mission and vision are demonstrated through high quality programs that are designed to promote independence and continued well-being of the men and women who reside in our residential homes. Duties include but are not limited to: Ensuring quality services are provided to the individuals who reside in the group home Supervise staff Ensure daily living skills training, community activities and recreation ISP planning and implementation Maintain daily, monthly, and annual required documentation (must be comfortable with electronic documentation systems) Involvement in client's medical support needs Plan and manage daily schedules Overall program management All manager positions involve hands on work that requires you to assist with all areas including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household chores and support in the community. Previous work experience in the field or a closely related field required. The Group Home Manager position is Full Time, candidates must be able to work a flexible full-time schedule including; evenings, weekends, and some holidays. •Must be able to be on call.
Job Requirements:
