Job Description

The Program Manager supervises and ensures a safe environment and works with the Clinical Team Leader and Behaviorist to establish a positive treatment program for coed youth. Oversees the implementation and maintenance of a positive, strengths-based, developmentally appropriate therapeutic milieu that is in keeping with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of the Agency. Responsible for the safety and security of the program, building, residents and staff. Has primary responsibility for budgets, scheduling and staff performance. Working with the Clinical Team Leader and Behaviorist, has the responsibility of implementing programming within the residence.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Direct coordination of daily program activities. Act as the residence leader. Hire, supervise and evaluate all Program staff, including emergency scheduling of "on call" staff members. Develop and implement orientation and training programs for all Program employees. Participate in and share leadership of staff meetings. Assign Consumers to lead residential therapists, and monitor these relationships. Develop and implement Program staff schedule. Address and approve timecards. Participate in individual, group and family therapy as indicated in the individual treatment plans of Consumers, or as indicated by the Clinical Team Leader. Provide a point of contact for Consumer's family and other community resources. Coordinate with school staff and the Consumer's teachers to insure follow up of the school programs. Develop programs in which all Consumers can participate, schedule off campus trips that will aid the Consumers in their emotional growth. Make the home a safe and fun place for all Consumers and staff. Actively engages in all pre crisis and crisis interventions, seeking to establish a positive outcome. Other duties as assigned Your driver's license must be in good standing, with no recent suspensions or violations of careless/reckless driving or excessive speeding of more than 20 MPH, and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, education or other closely related field. Prior Residential Counselor experience and 1 year of Supervisory experience. Legacy Treatment Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #LTS456
