The Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full‑Time Residential Team Leader to join our Vineland, NJ residential team. This onsite position gives you the opportunity to support individuals in a structured, caring environment while working with a team that values compassion, collaboration, and integrity. Who We Are For more than 60 years, the Cumberland County Guidance Center has been a trusted provider of mental health services for individuals and families across the county. As a non‑profit organization, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care. Our team-made up of clinicians, nurses, physicians, and support staff-works together to address a wide range of mental health needs and promote long‑term wellness. What You'll Do In the role of Residential Team Leader, you will oversee daily operations within our A+GRP Residential Group Home(s). You'll ensure that staff follow DMHAS standards, maintain program quality, and provide residents with the support they need to move toward independence. Your responsibilities will include gathering and evaluating data for our Quality Improvement Plan, developing individualized treatment plans, completing clinical documentation, and offering direct services that help residents integrate into the community. You'll also work closely with treatment providers to advocate for residents and support recovery‑focused interventions. Additional duties include organizing House council meetings, planning engaging activities, and assisting with emergency coverage or staffing needs across residential sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others while making a meaningful impact. What You'll Need To excel in this role, you should bring a combination of education, experience, and interpersonal strengths.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree in a mental health‑related field from an accredited institution One year of experience in a residential mental health setting Supervisory experience and the ability to both guide and support staff Knowledge of community resources and local support agencies Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five‑year driving record that meets insurance and organizational standards Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to advocacy will help you thrive in this position and ensure residents receive exceptional care.
