We're seeking a dedicated Property Manager experienced in Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) to lead the day-to-day operations of one of our vibrant multi-family apartment communities. What You'll Do:
- Oversee all operations of a 66-unit apartment community.
- Lead and support office and maintenance staff to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Manage tenant relations, certifications, and lease-ups with compassion and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and other housing programs.
- Serve as the key liaison with external agencies including HUD, SHC, DDD, and more.
- Support tenants in accessing vital services like Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.
- Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation for certifications and renewals.
What You Bring:
Required:
Bachelor's in related field and 2+ years in property management OR 5+ years of supervisory experience in property management without a degree. Strong working knowledge of Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), HUD, and Section 8 programs. Proficiency in MS Office 356. Experience with Property Management Software, preferably RealPage. Excellent communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to housing issues 24/7.Preferred:
Experience working with individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with Medicaid, Social Security, and DDD services. Why Join Project Freedom?
