Job Description
Job Overview "Live In" Resident Mentor to lead and oversee operations in a sober Homeless Shelter 7-days/week, most duties performed in early morning and evenings. Position includes private bedroom, utilities and food. Manager can obtain other employment that does not interfere with these duties. Duties Supervise and support residents, promoting a respectful and sober community atmosphere Manage house rules, behavioral expectations, chores and minor conflict resolution to maintain harmony within the residence Coordinate with client services counselor on day-to-day issues and call 911 in emergencies Conduct regular security checks, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Requirements Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively Experience with childcare, security protocols, or home & community care is a plus Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and behavioral health principles a plus Communication skills to foster positive relationships with residents and staff Lived experience and 12 step knowledge helpful Driver's License without
