Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Apartment Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our senior residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of property management and the low-income housing tax credit program, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents. This role requires effective communication, organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, compliance, maintenance, and resident relations. Oversee facilities management to ensure the property is well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations. Utilize property management software for tracking maintenance requests, lease agreements, tax credit compliance, and tenant communications. Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and facilitate the leasing process. Handle legal administrative tasks related to property management, including lease agreements and compliance with affordable housing programs and local laws. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications in an organized office environment. Implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current tenants. Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property. Qualifications Proven experience in property leasing or facilities management is preferred. Familiarity with property management software is a plus. Experience in paperwork necessary for LIHTC program compliance. Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes related to real estate law. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in office administration tasks. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in phone etiquette and maintaining professional interactions with residents and vendors.
