Support current SFCU@Work Non-Profit partners and expand participation in the program. Promote SFCU membership, products, and services through partner organizations, financial wellness events, workplace benefit days, and community outreach. Track, measure, and report membership growth and outreach activities, including partner engagement, events, and new members generated. Support and strengthen relationships with other key community and strategic partners that align with SFCU's mission and growth goals. Perform other job-related duties required or assigned. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in nonprofit engagement, community partnerships, or related fields, including program development, business development, or relationship management.
One of the following:
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or ( 4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Ability to identify growth opportunities, anticipate challenges, and align partnership efforts with organizational goals. Deep understanding of nonprofit organizational structures, workforce challenges, and strategic priorities. Knowledge of credit union products, financial wellness programs, and membership benefits to effectively communicate value to partners. Insight into community and corporate social responsibility initiatives, partnership development strategies, and stakeholder engagement models. Familiarity with financial literacy principles, workplace training techniques, and effective adult learning strategies for financial wellness programs. Understanding of metrics-driven growth, membership tracking, and reporting tools to evaluate partnership ROI and program success. Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences, including nonprofit staff, senior leaders, and community partners. Proactively develops creative solutions to enhance member engagement and expand the reach of SFCU's Non-Profit Partner Program. Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and organizations, ensuring programs are inclusive and culturally relevant. The Community Partnerships Officer drives membership growth through SFCU's Non-Profit Partner Program by developing and managing relationships with nonprofit organizations and supporting the financial well-being of their employees. This role builds and strengthens partnerships with nonprofit leaders, HR teams, and benefits coordinators to position SFCU as a trusted financial partner. The Community Partnerships Officer coordinates and delivers financial education programs for nonprofit employees, including workplace workshops, financial wellness sessions, and benefit days, introducing the value of SFCU membership. The position also expands engagement within existing nonprofit partners while identifying new partnership opportunities, increasing employee participation and awareness of SFCU membership and services. In addition, the role may help support and strengthen relationships with other key community and strategic partners that align with SFCU's mission and membership growth goals.
