Job Description:
Growing Property Management company seeks a detail-oriented, highly organized, knowledgeable Leasing Manager. The Leasing Manager is responsible for the supervision of a team of leasing professionals, all aspects of the leasing process across a portfolio of affordable housing/LIHTC/Sect 8 and 610 properties located throughout the five boroughs. The Leasing Manager will be responsible for the full cycle leasing process, including the initial marketing, tenant outreach and engagement, lease/renewal execution, and submission of executed leases. The Leasing Manager will work collaboratively with the Operations, Accounting, Compliance, and Legal teams. The Leasing Manager will be responsible for client/stakeholder engagement and communication. The Leasing Manager will lead, mentor, and develop the leasing team, including hiring, training, and performance management and drive process improvements, automation, and scalability as the portfolio growsPreferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full cycle Leasing experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Affordable Housing programs.
- Proficiency in Yardi (Voyager 7S).
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 3+ years of employee management strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Leasing Manager or similar role, preferably in the Property Management field
- Exceptional employee management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Compensation commensurate with experience.
