Assistant Property Manager Location:
Orange County Summary We are currently seeking a Property Manager to assist in the daily operations of multiple properties in Orange County NY. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in Affordable Housing, gaining hands-on experience in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements, and building a strong foundation for growth within the role and industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day operations of the Affordable Housing properties, ensuring full occupancy and smooth management of all activities. Assist LIHTC compliance, including timely and accurate annual re-certifications. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all needs are handled efficiently. Prepare and submit required State and County reports, maintaining compliance with all regulatory guidelines. Foster a positive community atmosphere by maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction. Implement operational best practices to drive property performance and profitability.
Qualifications:
Previous property management experience is preferred. Skilled in office software programs (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and compliance requirements a plus Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
