Pay:
$745/week Be the Person Students Can Count On International travel can be exciting—but it can also feel overwhelming for students far from home. As the Welfare Manager , you'll help ensure students feel safe, supported, and cared for throughout their stay in Los Angeles. You'll oversee student well-being, manage welfare concerns, and support your team in maintaining a safe residential environment. This role is ideal for someone calm under pressure, highly responsible, and passionate about student care. What You'll Do Support homesick, sick, or struggling students Respond to student concerns and incidents Maintain accurate incident documentation Communicate with group leaders when needed Lead Residential Safety Oversee curfew procedures Manage nightly room checks Coordinate overnight supervision schedules Ensure campus housing standards are maintained Handle Emergencies Respond to medical situations and emergencies Coordinate transportation for urgent care if needed Follow company emergency protocols Support Staff Train staff on safeguarding and welfare expectations Provide guidance when issues arise Help maintain strong communication across departments
What We're Looking For Required:
Experience working with youth or student populations Strong conflict resolution skills Excellent judgment Ability to remain calm during emergencies
Preferred:
First aid/CPR certification Residential program experience Student services experience Why This Role Stands Out Make a direct impact on student well-being Build leadership experience in youth safety and student services Play a critical role in creating a safe environment
