Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to oversee and coordinate services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in long-term care, group home management, and working with individuals with complex needs such as dementia and Alzheimer's. As a vital member of our team, the QIDP will develop personalized care plans, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to promote quality of life and independence for residents.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 4 year degree in a related field - Bachelors Degree in Social Work/Psychology or be a Registered Nurse to be considered for this position. Rate of pay will be discussed at the interview. Duties Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' specific needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care. Supervise direct care staff, providing leadership, training, and ongoing support to maintain high standards of resident care. Coordinate services across various settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, and community-based programs to ensure seamless support for residents. Manage operational aspects including budgeting, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to optimize facility efficiency. Conduct assessments of residents' progress and adjust care strategies accordingly to enhance well-being and independence. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care facilities and community services. Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and person-centered care for all residents.
