Residential Supervisor Qualifications :
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills A passion for caring for children Must be at least 21 years old Must successfully complete all background screening requirements Valid driver's license First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred What you'll do: Lead and supervise overnight direct care staff while ensuring the safety, well-being, and supervision of youth in a home-like environment. Provide hands-on resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), bed checks, meals, and meeting individual needs. Use trauma-informed care and approved de-escalation techniques to support youth with emotional and behavioral challenges while maintaining a safe environment. Complete accurate documentation, including shift notes, incident reports, behavioral observations, work orders, and timecard approvals. Coach, support, and evaluate team members while ensuring compliance with agency policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and team members to promote quality care, collaboration, and positive outcomes.
