Job Description

Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers, Inc., is a private non-profit agency, providing continuous service to the community since 1971. We provide services for youth, adults, and families struggling with substance abuse or addiction, mental health concerns, or problem gambling. This position is at the Lake County Adult Detention Facility. Job Summary The Director, Forensics manages the development, implementation, and delivery of services to advance the organization's strategic goals. Provides needed oversight, resources, and information for day-to-day operations of the department. Sets, maintains, and evaluates expectations of programs and goals via planning, data collection and quality assurance activities. Ensures client satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities Administration:
Participate in the development, monitoring, and management of the department's annual budget. Monitor staffing, coordinate schedules, and manage referrals/wait lists to most effectively meet the needs of the program. Develop, implement, and maintain program treatment models, policies, and procedures in accordance with relevant certifications/accreditation/fidelity standards
Program Development:
Identify and understand the needs and priorities of the community being served and develop and implement specific service activities in response. Take lead role working with other staff to collaborate with community partners to determine appropriate services and make recommendations regarding intervention model and strategies for meeting the needs for the community.
Supervision:
Provide clinical and administrative supervision for staff. Provide training and consultation for staff. Complete ongoing performance appraisal of program staff. Engagement with
Community Partners:
Develop strong, collaborative relationships with relevant community services and stakeholders. Serve as principal liaison between the organization and relevant funding sources and/or professional organizations that support specific clinical services.
Miscellaneous Programmatic Duties and Intra-Organizational Support:
Provide on-call coverage as assigned. Participate in supervision and team meetings, work groups, task forces, or other general efforts that add value to the success of the organization and programming. Provide direct service and crisis intervention/support as needed. Other duties as needed/assigned. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, mental health or related field Must hold appropriate licensure such as
LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, LP.
(condition of employment) Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required. Minimum of 3 years of criminal justice experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of substance use disorder, family illness models, community resources, and treatment modalities. Proficiency in computer literacy required. Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong organizational skills. Minimum 2 years in a personal recovery program, if applicable. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and off-site as required.
