ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The University & Community Events Office operates the Concession Stand in the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.
POSITION SUMMARY, ROUTINE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with operations and management of concession stand and staff. Assist with maintaining appearance/cleanliness of concession stand. Assist with inventory of supplies. Must get a SafeServe certificate (will be completed once hired) Opening and closing of concession stand and following procedures.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Heavy lifting (up to 25 pounds) May work nights and evenings Must be able to adhere to all safety standards and work practices established by the university. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Considerable lifting, bending, and walking are required to successfully do this job. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Registered full-time SSU student Eligible to work in the United States Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms Follow SSU dress code policy
