Job Description
The Solomon Organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join the team at Portside Apartments in Sheffield Lake, OH. The candidate must have at a minimum of 1 years property management experience for a residential apartment community and must possess very strong collections / delinquency / leasing experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
(including, but not limited to)FINANCIAL
Assist in developing, planning and implementing budget Handle recordkeeping and reporting responsibilities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis- Maintain accurate records of income and expenses Ensure timely rent collections
- Handle late notice and evictions as required on delinquent rents
OPERATIONAL
Oversee customer service and resident relations Oversee maintenance work orders, apartment move-ins, move-outs, and turnovers Oversee vendor / contractor relationsSTAFF MANAGEMENT
Marketing/Sales/Leasing/Customer Service Oversee and maintain all new lease and lease renewal practices to include selection and approval of new residentsQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1 years management experience directly overseeing residential apartment communities, which must include responsibility for operational results, sales and marketing and staff supervision. Very strong collections / delinquency / leasing experience Ability to quickly develop rapport with residents and staff- Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational with ability to prioritize multiple tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills
REQUIRED
1 years of relevant work experience including strong customer service skills, direct sales or leasing experience preferred Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.WHAT WE OFFER!
