Job Description
Landscape Account Manager (Sales) Position Summary The Landscape Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial and residential clients while generating new business opportunities, selling enhancements, overseeing quality control, and supporting field operations. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers and operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Client & Account Management Develop and maintain long-term relationships with residential and commercial clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication and service needs. Conduct routine property inspections and quality assurance visits. Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. Follow up on proposals, completed projects, and renewal opportunities. Sell landscape maintenance, enhancements, installation, and snow and ice management services. Prepare accurate estimates and proposals. Identify and close enhancement opportunities including: Mulch installations Landscape renovations Plantings Drainage improvements Landscape lighting Hardscape projects Seasonal color Additional property improvements Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling. Develop new customer relationships and generate profitable new business. Operations Coordinate with field supervisors and crew leaders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. Assist with scheduling crews and routing jobs to maximize productivity. Monitor job progress, labor, materials, and profitability. Participate in truck, trailer, equipment, and property inspections. Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing employees. Maintain accurate records using CRM and landscape management software. Winter Operations Support snow and ice management operations during winter events. Assist with customer communication, scheduling, routing, and operational coordination. Performance Expectations Success in this role will be measured by the ability to: Achieve annual sales and gross profit goals. Increase enhancement and recurring maintenance revenue. Grow snow and ice management contracts and renewals. Maintain high customer retention and satisfaction. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. Build strong relationships with customers and employees. Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, profitability, and company growth. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. 8+ years of experience in the landscape, lawn care, or snow management industry. 8+ years of experience in landscape account management, sales, or operations. Proven success in account growth, customer retention, and enhancement sales. Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance, installations, and snow operations. Computer Skills, Excel, Word, Landscape Software Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Experience working with commercial landscaping equipment, including mowers, skid steers, loaders, trailers, and snow removal equipment. Preferred Strong understanding of production management, scheduling, and budgeting.
