A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

Wilcox Communities seeks to hire a full-time Leasing Manager to join our Central Ohio team at our Worthington, OH location. This role could also work at various locations throughout Central Ohio based on portfolio needs. The Leasing Manager will be someone that helps Wilcox Communities achieve leasing goals and customer experience goals in the assigned Communities.

As a Leasing Manager with Wilcox Communities your role will be a blend of:
Lead Management:
You are the first point of contact for our prospective and current residents and responsible for responses and following up with potential residents to provide information about our communities and apartment homes. You will give guided tours of the Community and apartments and deeply knowledgeable about Wilcox Communities and what we have to offer to our residents in our homes and community amenities. You're committed to success, and you are results driven.
Administrative Responsibilities:
You will be assisting with new lease applications and other related processes, as well as coordinating the renewal lease process for current residents.
Customer Experience:
You do the little things, as well as the big things, that show people you care. Creating memorable experiences that our customers will tell others about excites you. You understand that loyalty is earned by doing the unexpected and you're willing to ensure you and your team deliver on our goal of delivering outstanding customer experience no matter what the circumstance. Following up with current and prospective residents on feedback and concerns. Assisting with customer service and experience initiative and events throughout the Community
REQUIREMENTS
Your Experience:
You've worked in a fast-paced, professional environment, you enjoy engaging and interacting with people and you are motivated by achieving defined sales goals.

Working Weekends:
You'll be required to work weekends as a part of your regular schedule. Your schedule will include regular days off that fall between
Monday and Friday Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience :
Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Responsible, accountable and self-motivated Customer-facing sales and/or property management experience Experience in a customer facing role with responsibilities including customer service Excellent verbal and written communication skill Responsible, accountable, and self-motivated, qualified individual will be able to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in management software is preferred (Entrata is a plus), Microsoft Office and basic computer skills Excellent understanding (or quick ability to learn) of Fair Housing Laws and Standards
