Full-Time, Hourly Position Overview:
The Property Management Assistant supports daily operations across a portfolio of approximately 300 rental units, including single-family homes, apartments, and storage units. This role combines administrative responsibilities with fieldwork and requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage tenant communications including inquiries, complaints, and rent collection follow-up 2. Assist with leasing activities and advertisements 3. Conduct property inspections and report findings 4. Coordinate with maintenance personnel and assist with scheduling and logistics 5. Transport and deliver materials or supplies to job sites as needed 6. Assist with billing entries, record-keeping, and general administrative tasks 7. Maintain organization of office systems and communication channels 8. Support property readiness including light cleanup or coordination of services 9.
Assist Property Manager Required Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record 3. Basic computer proficiency (email, Excel, data entry) 4. Ability to learn property management software such as Buildium and maintenance systems like Meld 5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 6. Ability to handle conflict and difficult conversations professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Prior experience in property management, real estate, or customer service 2. Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping principles
Work Environment:
1. Combination of office and field work 2. Frequent interaction with tenants, vendors, and team members 3. Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and initiative

Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
