We specialize in industrial and a few suburban office properties. We do not own or manage any residential, multi-family, pure retail, hospitality, or healthcare properties — this includes homes, apartment complexes, condominiums, assisted living, self-storage, and hotels. We manage only our own properties and are not a third-party management company. Our properties are maintained to the highest standards, with the intention of long-term ownership. Position Description In many ways, property management is the heart and soul of our company. Property Managers serve as the primary point of contact for all our tenants and are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our business parks.Responsibilities Tenant Relationship Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants through regular site visits, meetings, and timely responses to inquiries and work orders.Property Inspections:
Conduct property inspections and engage with tenants to address their concerns. Point of Contact forFacility Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant, vendor, and emergency service calls related to facility management.After-Hours Emergency Services:
Provide after-hours emergency services on occasion.Maintenance and Repair Scheduling:
Manage the maintenance, repair, and replacement needs of the property, including services like parking lot sweeping, snow removal, landscaping, lighting, roof repairs, and HVAC maintenance.Risk Management:
Identify and address potential safety or liability risks.Vendor Management:
Negotiate and manage service contracts with vendors.Fire and Safety Systems Compliance:
Ensure the timely testing and maintenance of fire alarms, backflow systems, and other critical infrastructure.Vendor Relationship Development:
Develop and maintain vendor relationships.Vacancy Preparation:
Assist in preparing vacant spaces for lease and coordinate tenant improvements.Tenant Move-In and Move-Out:
Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs.Invoice Review and Approval:
Review and approve project-related invoices.Tenant Retention and Lease Renewal:
Collaborate with the leasing team to retain and renew tenants. Lease Review forFacility Issues:
Review lease agreements to address facility-related issues.Accounting and Administrative Coordination:
Work closely with the accounting and administrative teams to ensure prompt collections and insurance compliance.Skills and Competencies Customer Service:

Exhibit strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Yardi Experience (Preferred): Experience with Yardi is preferred. Eligibility Requirements An Associate's degree from an accredited institution (preferred). Ability to pass a background check. Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property visits. Ability to occasionally climb ladders. Work Environment and Physical Demands We foster a supportive and collaborative work environment, emphasizing the importance of being physically present in the office to maintain our company culture and provide thorough onboarding and training. This position involves substantial time away from the office attending to property matters. When not in the field, you will be required to work from our office.The role involves:
A combination of desk work and active field duties, including walking properties, driving, climbing roof ladders, and performing light property maintenance. Using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Other Duties This job description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Duties may change as needed. Hours This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with occasional after-hours calls. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. This is not a remote position.
