Assistant Community Manager

Hours:
5-10 hours per week
Pay:
$18.00/hr starting | Increase to $22.00/hr available at 6-month review

  • ABOUT
THE ROLE
We're a privately owned 27-unit manufactured home community in Ontario, OR looking for a reliable, people-smart Assistant Community Manager to be our on-the-ground presence. You'll report directly to the park owner and work alongside our on-site community contact. This role is built for someone who values flexibility and work-life balance. Hours are light, the schedule is yours to manage, and ownership is hands-off and supportive. What matters most is that you show up consistently, communicate openly, and take pride in keeping a community running well.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct weekly walkthroughs of the property and report findings to ownership
  • Meet weekly with on-site community contact to stay coordinated
  • Enforce community rules and regulations (pets, vehicles, trash, parking, etc.)
  • Issue notices and support eviction coordination when necessary
  • Handle administrative tasks using ResMan property management software
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors on behalf of ownership
  • Oversee water meter installation project across all 27 units (one-time)
  • Show available units to prospective tenants
  • Screen tenant applicants and report findings to ownership for final decision
  • Address light tenant issues and help maintain community appearance
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-3+ years experience in property management, community management, or related field
  • Experience with manufactured/mobile home park communities a strong plus
  • Comfortable enforcing rules and having direct conversations while maintaining positive relationships
  • Proficient with computers and basic office software
  • Familiarity with Oregon landlord-tenant law or manufactured dwelling regulations a plus (not required)
  • Self-directed, reliable, and proactive communicator
  • Must reside within 20 miles of Ontario, OR
