THE POSITION

As a Residential Services Aide Night Supervisor with the Department of Human Services (DHS), you will help create a supportive nighttime environment for individuals living at Selinsgrove Center. This role lets you lead staff, manage nightly routines, and support ongoing treatment plans. Your leadership helps ensure consistency, safety, and comfort through the overnight hours. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees nightly care activities and supports staff who provide services to individuals living at Selinsgrove Center. The role ensures that routines, safety practices, and treatment supports are carried out effectively throughout the night. As a Residential Services Aide Night Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

Staff Supervision:

Guide direct care staff, assign duties, monitor work quality, and provide training when needed

Care Coordination:

Support individual treatment plans through observation, communication, and coordination of nightly activities

Incident Oversight:

Assist in identifying causes of incidents and support preventive strategies within assigned areas

Shift Coordination:

Maintain nightly staffing coverage, manage reports, and handle changes or emergencies during the shift

Quality Initiatives:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Work hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work a rotating schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and break days. Overtime and travel as needed Free parking

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience as a Residential Services Aide (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of paid experience performing direct care and habilitative services for individuals with a developmental disability; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
