The ideal candidate will assist in the management of residential properties, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. Duties Assist in the daily operations of property management, including tenant relations and property maintenance. Handle leasing activities, including showing properties, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, property maintenance requests, and lease documentation using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Manage conflict resolution and tenant complaints effectively to maintain a positive living environment. Support the implementation of marketing strategies to attract new tenants and upsell available units. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate repairs as needed. Perform data entry and filing tasks related to tenant records and property management activities. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries promptly and professionally. Experience Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs and Section 8 housing is a plus. Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and negotiation skills. Proficient in administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and office procedures. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective tenant interactions.
