Work-from-home days Casual work attire NEW JOB DESCRIPTION- Read before applying, if you are not a dedicated worker, please do not apply to be a manager. The first shift manager will work Sunday-Thursday from 11-8. The second shift manager will be responsible for making sure the second shift DSP's do not call out on Saturday and Sunday from 8pm-8am. If the second shift manager has a call out, they are responsible for finding staff coverage or will have to report to work. This manager should always have his/her schedule available to be prepared for call outs. The second shift manager will always be responsible for any second shift employees. You are the leader of this shift, you will be the only person responsible for call outs, no exceptions. DUTIES Every Monday morning you will have an inspection while the 1st shift manager is at work. They will inspect your paperwork and the cleanliness of the environment. Make sure the home is inspection ready for the 1st shift manager. You will monitor all documentation and make sure it is correct at all times. You must be a quick learner to become familiar with Therap programming system. Excellent computer and communication skills. You will prepare food for the 3-11 shift and the morning breakfast. You will always update your 1st shift manager of groceries and supplies that are needed for your shift. Make sure all ADL's are complete at the end of every shift, this includes teeth and feet are always clean and no dirty clothes. You should iron during this shift and wash all the clothes. Make sure all medication is administered to the correct individuals and MARS are initialed daily, you are always responsible for making sure medication is double locked and MAR matched the bubble pack. Your medical case manager will assist with all medication. Before you leave the home. If they attend day services make sure medication is sent if needed. Make sure the individuals clothes are ironed and they are all groomed before exiting the home. The 2nd shift manager and 1st shift manager must communicate all issues to make sure the needs of the individuals supported are always met. (Communication book will be at the home for the 2nd and 1st shift manager) Must
BE ABLE TO READ, WRITE AND WORK A COMPUTER.

Required:
Must have a four years College undergraduate degree
COMPLETED
in human services or other applied disciplines preferred or High School diploma with three years DD Group Home experience preferred. Experienced with managing or supervising staff and individuals for one year. Candidates must be compassionate, take initiative and good communication/written skills. Certification should include or willing to be certified in CPR, First Aid, Medication Management and Behavioral training. Must have a drug free screening and no criminal background.' '
