As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Program Manager to help lead our Residential and Day Services programs. About the Role The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, oversight, and quality of HopeWay's Residential and Community Participation Services. This position ensures individuals receive high-quality, person-centered support while maintaining compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and best practices. The Program Manager serves as the primary liaison for individuals, families, guardians, service coordinators, and community partners. Key Responsibilities Oversee the intake process, assessments, and successful transitions for new individuals entering services. Provide supervision, coaching, and support to Home Care Providers, and Program Staff. Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with families and guardians, ensuring consistent and transparent communication Develop and implement community participation activity programming, including the Meaningful Day curriculum Ensure services are individualized, person-centered, and aligned with each individual's goals and support needs. Monitor program quality and implement improvements to strengthen service delivery and outcomes. Support behavior plans, risk management plans, health care protocols, and other individualized supports. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, HCP hiring documents, HRST documentation, fire drill records, attendance, incident reports, and billing records. Maintain compliance with all state regulations and organizational standards, including preparing for certification reviews and ensuring documentation is current Build and maintain positive relationships with families, guardians, Area Agencies, medical providers, and community partners. Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed and provide direct support when necessary to maintain continuity of care.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders. At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance. Ability to complete all required training and maintain certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing residential, shared living, or day support programs. Knowledge of New Hampshire developmental services regulations and Medicaid-funded services. Experience with behavior supports, person-centered planning, and quality assurance. Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
