The Area Manager position is a vital leadership role that oversees the operations for multiple properties within a specific district or area. Area Managers are responsible for the overall performance of each assigned property, including site staff, resolving tenant concerns, policy compliance, maintaining the facilities, and financial analysis to ensure positive growth and stability. This position requires a strong knowledge of various regulatory agency regulations (LIHTC, Rural Development, and/or HUD) along with proven professional experience in all aspects of property management. Duties to included, but are not limited to: oversee day to day management of staff ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. coach and mentor team members to support development and improve performance manage performance of assigned portfolio including occupancy, collection rates, recertifications, and inspections maintain property upkeep and curb appeal ensure accurate and timely records maintained in proprietary system
