Job Description

Property Management Assistant Perch Real Estate Lakewood, CO Job Details Part-time $22 - $28 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Qualifications Administrative experience Driver's License Attention to detail Driving Organizational skills Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a boutique real estate brokerage looking for a highly organized, self-motivated Property Management Assistant to support our growing residential property management operations. This is a hybrid role — most work is done remotely, but some in-office time at our Lakewood location is required. You'll be out in the field regularly, so a reliable personal vehicle is a must. This role serves residential properties only.
SERVICE AREA DENVER METRO
Lakewood | Denver | Englewood | Aurora | Littleton | Westminster | Lafayette | Commerce City
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Communicate professionally with tenants and owners via email and other channels Track leases, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs Coordinate maintenance requests and follow-ups Conduct property showings and follow up with prospective tenants (some weekend availability is needed for showings periodically) Post notices at properties and perform routine property check-ins Keep daily property operations running smoothly with minimal oversight Manage and respond to inbound inquiries, keeping leads organized and moving forward Support light office tasks from our Lakewood location as needed Coordinate emergency maintenance situations during after-hours or on-call periods when tenant-related issues arise
On-Call Note:
This role requires occasional after-hours availability to coordinate emergency maintenance requests. These situations are tenant-related and time-sensitive. This is not a frequent occurrence, but applicants should be comfortable with occasional evening or weekend availability.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong administrative background — real estate or property management experience highly preferred A true self-starter who works independently, stays motivated, and gets things done without constant direction Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license — comfortable driving across the Denver metro regularly Excellent organizational skills and sharp attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and makes good decisions independently Professional and personable — comfortable representing the company in the field Comfortable with occasional on-call availability for after-hours emergency coordination Active Colorado real estate license is a significant bonus, but not required
SOFTWARE WE USE
Follow Up Boss | Buildium | Zendesk | Property Meld | Tenant Turner | Rently Experience with any of these is a strong plus. A fast learner with solid tech skills is equally welcome.
PERKS & BENEFITS
Mileage reimbursement for all work-related driving Monthly phone usage stipend Hybrid schedule — most work done from home Hands-on real estate industry exposure Path to a real estate sales career if desired Small team — work directly with the owner Flexibility in your schedule
WHY THIS ROLE?
This position is an ideal fit for someone who wants to get into real estate sales but is looking for steady income, hands-on learning, and a supportive environment to get started. It's also a great opportunity for someone who doesn't need or want a traditional 9-to-5 — this role offers genuine flexibility to structure your days around the work rather than a rigid schedule. If you're a parent, a part-time student, someone building toward a real estate license, or simply someone who thrives with autonomy and wants meaningful work without being tied to a desk full-time, this could be the right fit. We genuinely invest in the people around us — whether that means growing in this role long-term or using it as a launching pad for your own real estate career.
WHY WORK AT PERCH?
At Perch, we believe great work happens when people feel trusted, supported, and valued — not micromanaged. We're a small, close-knit team where your contributions are visible and your voice actually matters. You won't get lost in a corporate structure here; you'll work directly with the owner, have real conversations, and see the direct impact of your work every day. We care about results, not face time. Whether you're in the field, working from home, or stopping by the office, we trust you to manage your day and get the job done. That kind of flexibility is rare, and we take it seriously. We're also a team that genuinely invests in the people around us. If you want to grow — whether that's deepening your expertise in property management, earning your real estate license, or eventually building your own sales career — we'll be in your corner. We want this to be a role you're proud of, not just a job you show up for.
