What they do
A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

JOB DUTIES
========== As a Property Manager with our company you will:- meet with prospective rental property owners and attempt to win their business
- schedule and conduct showings of available rental listings
- meet with tenants for lease signing
- conduct tenant move-in and move-out
- serve as "point of contact" for property owner and tenants
- arrange for maintenance work at properties You MUST already have an active Minnesota real estate license, which will be transferred to our company upon your hiring (please do NOT apply if you don't already have your license ).
REQUIREMENTS
============== Previous experience is not necessary, but is helpful. We provide training and documentation. The main qualifications we seek are in personal characteristics.The ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy meeting with prospective owners and tenants
- Like the challenge of winning new customers
- Be highly self-directed and able to handle a flexible schedule
- Be very organized, maintaining careful notes and records on customers and properties
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times

LOCATION AND HOURS
==================== Work from home; travel to properties; flexible schedule but on call for maintenance and showings. No requirement to be in an office, but you MUST already be living in the general area around Rochester, MN and be willing to travel within at least a 20-mile radius around Rochester.ABOUT US
