Job Description
Blais Estate LLC is looking for an organized, dependable and proactive person to help manage the day-to-day operations of our growing residential property portfolio in the Augusta area. This is a combination of property management, operations, administrative coordination and on-site property work. The role will work closely with the owner and help make sure tasks, maintenance, tenant issues and projects are followed through from start to finish. We are looking for someone who can not only handle day-to-day responsibilities, but also help us become more organized and develop better systems and processes as the company grows. Responsibilities Coordinate tenant communications, maintenance requests and vendors Help manage apartment turnovers, inspections, move-ins and move-outs Track open tasks, repairs and property projects Visit properties to perform visual inspections and verify completed work Assist with leasing and general property management responsibilities Maintain organized property, tenant and vendor information Help develop and improve company procedures, checklists and systems Occasionally assist with light cleaning or other hands-on property tasks when needed Handle a variety of day-to-day operational responsibilities as they arise Who We're Looking For The right person will be: Highly organized and dependable Strong at communication and follow-through Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable communicating with tenants, employees and contractors Comfortable working both in an office environment and at our properties Interested in improving processes and finding better ways to get things done Willing to jump in and help where needed Property management, real estate, construction, maintenance coordination, office management or operations experience is helpful, but strong organizational skills, judgment and reliability are most important.
