Job Description

•Job position is available as a full-time 1099 sub-contractor. Starting pay will vary depending on experience & does have ability to increase based on performance •Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our property management activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of property management practices, and the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and vendors alike. Responsibilities Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing activities and tenant relations. Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Utilize property management software for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management. Support the leasing process, including conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues through effective facilities management. Implement conflict management strategies to address tenant concerns and disputes professionally. Assist in the preparation of contracts and negotiations with vendors and service providers. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and providing information on property features and amenities. Experience Prior experience in property management, leasing, or customer service preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with property management software (Buildium, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar) is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
