Property Manager (Operations-Focused)

Full-time About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented, operations-focused Property Manager who can keep multiple moving parts organized while maintaining strong, professional communication with tenants and vendors. This role leans heavier on execution, organization, and follow-through than sales. You will be responsible for making sure things get done correctly and on time—every time. What You'll Be Responsible For Oversee daily operations of a residential rental portfolio Coordinate and track maintenance from request to completion Communicate with tenants clearly and consistently (issues, notices, expectations) Manage leasing process (showings, applications, screening, lease execution) Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and document property condition Monitor rent collections and follow up on delinquencies Keep accurate and organized records within management software Work with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness Identify inefficiencies and help improve systems and processes What This Job Requires Day-to-Day Managing multiple tasks at once without things slipping through the cracks Following up consistently (you will rarely "do something once and be done") Communicating professionally—even in difficult situations Paying attention to details that others might overlook Making decisions without constant oversight What Success Looks Like Maintenance requests are handled quickly and fully resolved Tenants are informed, not confused Files, leases, and records are clean and organized Vacancies are filled efficiently with qualified tenants Problems are anticipated and handled early Non-Negotiables Strong organizational and time management skills High attention to detail Clear, direct communication Ability to handle conflict and enforce policies professionally Ownership mindset—takes responsibility and follows through Tech-comfortable (property management software, email, tracking systems) Licensing Requirement A Property Manager License is not required to start , but must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment . We will support you in the process. Nice to Have Property management or real estate experience Maintenance coordination experience Leasing or customer service background Challenges to Expect You will be juggling multiple properties and priorities at once Some tenant and maintenance situations can be urgent or stressful This role requires consistent follow-up and accountability Small details matter and cannot be overlooked Growth Opportunity As the portfolio grows, there is opportunity to step into a larger operations or leadership role within the company.
