Residential Manager•Evening | Domestic Violence Shelter Williamson County, TN Position Summary Bridges Domestic Violence Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate professional to support the daily operations of our emergency shelter. This position provides trauma-informed care, crisis response, and direct support to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. The Residential Manager ensures a safe, structured environment while helping clients access tools and resources that support stability and independence. Key Responsibilities Answer crisis hotline calls and provide appropriate support and referrals Complete shelter intakes and exits accurately and efficiently Provide trauma-informed support, crisis intervention, and client advocacy Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful shelter environment Support residents in working toward personal goals and stability Communicate effectively with shelter staff to ensure continuity of care Document client interactions and maintain accurate data entry (case notes, reporting) Assist with coordination of services and referrals to community resources Provide transportation for clients as needed Support oversight of facility safety, cleanliness, and day-to-day operations Assist with donations and basic resource coordination Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and team communication Support weekend/overnight staff as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in social services, domestic violence advocacy, case management, or residential programs preferred Ability to provide trauma-informed care and maintain professional boundaries Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage crisis situations with sound judgment Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexible and dependable in a fast-paced environment Requirements Valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills (data entry, documentation) Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs High School Diploma or GED (relevant experience preferred) Willingness to complete 40 hours of annual training Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Schedule Monday•
