Job Description

Job Description As a Property Management Supervisor, you will interpret and negotiate commercial real estate documents to support and strengthen the company's real estate portfolio. You will oversee a team handling property management resolutions, lease matters, and dispositions, while supporting leadership through special projects, team development, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
  • Ability to read and interpret commercial real estate documents including, but not limited to, lease agreements, amendments, property deeds, title policies, easement agreements, site plans and surveys.
  • Negotiate disposition deals, use restriction waivers, easements, ECR agreements and any other commercial real estate documents that may be necessary to protect and enhance our real estate portfolio.
  • Supervise a growing team that supports and handles Property Management Matter Resolutions. The areas of responsibility for this direct report would include lease interpretation, negotiations, property dispositions, matter resolutions, and being a business reviewer for new legal documents created in Property Management.
  • Support the Manager of Property Management by handling special projects, mentoring their team, and training new AutoZoners.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously while supporting different departments and teams. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Juris Doctor highly desirable
  • Commercial real estate experience with national retailer highly desirable
  • Five years' experience in commercial real estate such as managing complex real estate terms, analyzing real estate documents, terminology, and practices
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge and experience in exercising rights of first refusal, easements, prohibitive covenants
