OVERVIEW PRICE REALTY MANAGEMENT CORPORATION
is a leading multi-family residential investment and property management company with properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and Austin markets. We are seeking a Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in daily operations, focusing on resident relations, leasing, marketing, and property maintenance to ensure high occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance, handling tasks from rent collection and lease renewals to coordinating repairs and managing administrative duties, often acting as the main point of contact for residents and vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Property Manager will play a vital role in maintaining high occupancy rates, fostering positive resident relationships, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the property. Assist in leasing activities including property tours, application processing, and lease signing while up selling available units and amenities. Manage resident inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution with professionalism and courtesy. Coordinate property maintenance requests and work closely with management and maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep. Assist with rent collection, process payments, manage ledgers, help prepare budgets, and reconcile accounts. Maintain accurate data entry and filing of resident records, lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation using RealPage property management software. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company standards. Assist in marketing efforts to attract prospective tenants through customer relationship management strategies and sales techniques. Prepare reports related to occupancy rates, rent collections, maintenance issues, and other operational metrics. Support the administration of contracts related to property services and vendor agreements. Handle phone inquiries professionally following proper phone etiquette while providing exceptional customer service.
REQUIREMENTS 3
Yrs proven experience in multi-family assistant property management Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency preferred. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management procedures. Proficiency with property OneSite management software, or similar platforms Strong organizational skills including data entry, filing, and office administration experience Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling units or amenities, and handling contracts effectively. Customer service-oriented mindset with experience in property leasing or sales roles preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
