Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Sober Living Live-In House Manager to oversee daily operations within a supportive sober living environment for men. This vital role involves fostering a safe, structured, and nurturing atmosphere for male residents committed to recovery. As a live-in manager, you will serve as a positive role model, coordinate resident activities, conduct on-going resident drug testing, draft weekly reports to management, and ensure compliance with program policies. Your leadership will empower residents on their journey to sustained sobriety while maintaining the safety and integrity of the community. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in individuals' lives while developing valuable skills in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and case management. In addition to the contract income, TCG offers a heavily discounted monthly rental rate for the duration of contract employment of our live-in sober house managers. Duties Supervise and support residents to promote accountability, positive behavior, and recovery goals Monitor the safety and security of the facility through regular inspections, security checks, and surveillance oversight Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively Assist with intake procedures for new residents, including documentation and initial assessments Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring proper storage and documentation in compliance with health regulations Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping related to resident progress, incident reports, and program documentation Facilitate behavioral health activities and support residents in developing life skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and self-management Coordinate with external providers for case management, addiction counseling, or home & community care services as needed Conduct regular behavioral health assessments and contribute to individualized recovery plans Manage daily household operations including medication administration, data collection, and ensuring a clean, organized living environment Qualifications Prior supervising experience in residential or behavioral health settings preferred Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and conflict management strategies Experience with childcare or working with vulnerable populations is a plus Familiarity with security protocols and safety procedures within residential facilities Background in addiction counseling or social work strongly preferred Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, staff, and external agencies Certification or training in first aid and drug use/overdose prevention is required; CPR certification is advantageous Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs or home & community care is desirable Ability to perform data entry, filing, medication administration, and other administrative tasks efficiently This role offers an engaging opportunity to lead by example while supporting individuals on their path to recovery. $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
