Part-Time Affordable Housing Community Manager

Job Description

This is NOT your typical property management grind. We are seeking an experienced Affordable Housing (HUD) Manager for a rare 20 hour per week Part-Time Manager position. We designed this role for work-life balance. If you are an experienced manager looking to step back from full-time, a parent who needs to work while kids are in school, or a seasoned professional who wants to stay active without the 60-hour week•this was made for you. You set your 20 hours each week anytime between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. No nights. No weekends.

Responsibilities:
Initiate and manage all core business processes including leasing, resident and vendor relations, and maintenance Ensure compliance with all applicable affordable housing program requirements and federal, state, and local regulations Monitor, maintain and control property expenses Ensure accurate and on-time submission of all company and compliance reports Inspect all aspects of the property for minimum physical standards including common areas, buildings, and units Direct and coordinate with outside vendors to ensure property is maintained above minimum standards Maintain proper records for all applicable affordable housing programs Ensure site curb appeal and community is maintained in a professional condition Interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors and clients
Qualifications:
Knowledge and 5 years of experience in Affordable Housing (HUD) property management•

Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors and clients Positive attitude with a solution-based and customer-focused mindset Maintain high legal/ethical standards in all work related decisions
Schedule Details:
20 hours per week Day shift only Flexible•You choose your shifts between 8 AM and 6 PM Monday to Friday•No weekends required
