A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.
We are seeking an individual with exceptional management skills and experience to fill a full-time Senior Property Manager role at three of our affordable rural apartment communities in Bonham, TX. The starting salary for this position is $52,000 per year, and will include 40 hours each week. We have a very competitive compensation package that includes excellent PTO benefits, bonuses, and employer paid health insurance. Projected total value of package is $60,000, with room to grow. In this role, the ideal candidate will be customer service, team oriented, self-directed, have attention to detail, motivated, and will possess excellent communication and computer skills. You will be responsible for the financial performance and physical condition at assigned properties. Some after-hour work for routing emergency calls is required. Experience in affordable housing programs is ideal. Experience with Yardi software is desired. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Property Manager, you will be a valuable member of the management team. A manager of an Integra-Peak property has responsibilities that fall into four (4) primary categories: Collecting rent Attracting residents to property and helping make sure they remain Overseeing the property's physical condition Properly completing paperwork and other required compliance tasks In addition to the skills listed above, Managers are responsible for budget and key control as well as enforcing occupancy policies and procedures, preparing occupancy and compliance reports, and continuing apartment management education/training. You will deal directly and consistently with the residents at our properties to analyze and resolve issues. Resolving issues must be done on time and in an efficient manner - both timely and accurately with a sense of urgency and with resident & owner/management focus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful Property Manager must have apartment and / or residential management experience. This individual must be professional with excellent communication skills, skills to succed both behind a desk and boots-on-the-ground, and a drive to succeed.. Proper conduct is essential.
