The Future of Factory-Built Housing Position Summary The Assistant Community Manager serves as a key member of the onsite management team, supporting the Community Manager in all aspects of daily operations. This role combines customer service, leasing, administrative support, collections, resident relations, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, detail-oriented, and motivated to help grow a new community. What You'll Do Leasing & Sales Welcome prospective residents and conduct community tours Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries Manage leads and follow-up activities Assist applicants through the leasing and move-in process Support occupancy and resident retention initiatives Resident Relations Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospects Assist with resident communications and community events Address resident concerns professionally and efficiently Help foster a positive and welcoming community atmosphere Administrative & Financial Support Process applications, leases, and resident documentation Assist with rent collections and delinquency follow-up Maintain accurate resident files and records Prepare reports and support office operations Ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations Community Operations Coordinate maintenance requests and resident follow-up Assist with community inspections and appearance standards Support vendor and contractor coordination Help maintain a clean, professional, and inviting community environment Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in property management, leasing, customer service, sales, or administrative support Strong customer service and communication skills Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Manufactured housing, multifamily, or residential community experience Collections experience Experience with property management software What We're Looking For Positive and professional attitude Strong organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail Self-motivated and dependable Team-oriented mindset Passion for creating great resident experiences Why Join Peak Communities?
