Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction while managing property maintenance, leasing activities, and compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management practices. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the community, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications. Maintain accurate records related to resident interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests. Implement conflict management strategies to address resident concerns effectively and maintain a positive community atmosphere. Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of repair requests and upkeep of property facilities. Utilize property management software such as OneSite Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it meets safety standards and aesthetic expectations. Develop and maintain relationships with residents through effective communication and customer service initiatives. Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers for facility management needs. Skills Proficient in property management software. Familiarity with conflict management techniques and customer service best practices. Ability to upsell services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction. Solid understanding of property maintenance requirements and facilities management principles. Excellent negotiation skills for handling contracts and vendor agreements. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and managing budgets. Effective phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills for engaging with residents and vendors alike.
