Personal vehicle may be required for job duties.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift/move items over 50 pounds. Job Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Manage and verify government hand receipt accounts using Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS) and the Army's Global Combat Support System (GCSS-A). Handle property transportation, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and setup with proper equipment checks. Assess locations, document property details, and manage transactions like additions, corrections, turn ins, barcode re-orders, and property transfers. Issue and update Sub Hand Receipts. Work with the Property Book Office to ensure accurate, secure, and timely transactions, resolving any discrepancies. Conduct full inventories, analyze property management issues, and develop solutions. Operate government vehicles and equipment, such as forklifts and box trucks. Maintain compliance with Army regulations and ensure property accountability. Participate in meetings and take on additional tasks as needed.
Experience/Skills/Education:
Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience; associate degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience; or high school diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Experience with the following a plus: ASTS® and
GCSS-A MS
Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint Must be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
