May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Available Help for . The Property Manager position is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned community or communities in the areas of occupancy, collections, curb-appeal, financial management, and resident relations for 170 apartments. This position is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the management office and assigned staff. The Property Manager serves as an advocate for maintaining housing as a community resource and promotes to its residents and the general public an understanding of the mission. Ensures compliance with applicable HUD, Del Rio Housing Authority, Texas Apartment Association, Red Book, and Texas Department Housing and Community Affairs. Responds to inquiries concerning policies and practices associated with the application and/or re-examination processes in a courteous and professional manner. Prepares, coordinates and oversees the proper disposition of, all paperwork relating to renting or vacating housing units in accordance with established procedures. Responsible for move-in/move-out procedures, monitoring of service contracts, and timely response to resident service requests, ensuring smooth operations, productive communications, and effective understanding during all interpersonal contacts. Available 24/7 to ensure property is well managed and taken care of at all times. Must have a valid TX Driver's License. Be bondable and eligible for coverage under Authority fleet auto insurance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
