A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Dayrise Residential The Leasing Manager is a key member and the face of the onsite office team, serving as the first point of contact for prospective residents. This role is primarily responsible for engaging with prospects, identifying their needs, and matching them with available apartment homes that align with their lifestyle and budget—while effectively showcasing the value of living at Dayrise Residential, LLC. In addition to driving leasing activity, the Leasing Manager leads the leasing team, sets the standard for customer experience, and is accountable for achieving occupancy and revenue goals. This role oversees daily leasing operations, ensures compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations, and partners closely with property leadership to execute marketing and outreach strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Ideal Candidate:
Receives all needed information from prospective residents/completes all paperwork and data entry associated with leasing activities. Assist new residents with move-in process Prepares and maintains resident files Contacts prospective resident of approval/disapproval; assists them in completing the lease and receives initial rent and deposit payments. Assists new residents with the move-in process. Prepares and maintains a file for each resident. Contacts residents with expiring leases to discuss renewals and encourages the renewal of the lease. Assists in marketing efforts in the community to promote the property positively and to help bring in prospective residents. Including marketing efforts such as outside marketing calls. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned. What you will need to
Succeed:
Above average ability to communicate with clients and with co-workers both verbally and in writing A clear understanding of business concepts, processes, and the principles of strategic thinking Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales, maintenance and resident relations. Ability to learn and comply with industry legal requirements, especially related to Federal and Local Fair Housing Laws. Ability to travel off-site for training courses and outside marketing Basic computer technology skills and ability to learn specialized software. Skill to convince prospective residents of the advantages of living at a community by sales closing methods. Knowledge of the work of other associates at a property. Ability to organize work. Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some holidays as required. Training or experience in basic computer use and in Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience in OneSite High School Diploma required 1-2 years of experience in
