The Community Health AmeriCorps VISTA Member will mobilize key individuals and organizations to create coalitions committed to improving community health; develop interventions that address community needs among under-resourced communities; and monitor/evaluate community programs. This role reports to the Director for Community Health Development at the System Office and their assigned Ministry's Vice President of Mission Integration or the Ministry's Community Health Lead. You will be based at our System Office or in one of our Health Systems across four states: Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Arkansas. VISTAs are highly skilled and participate in capacity-building activities that enhance the mission, strategy, skills, and culture, as well as systems, infrastructure, and human resources of organizations, like

Coordinate the evaluation and improvement of community health resources and programs. Develop new partnerships and strengthen existing partnerships by connecting with local community organizations. Contribute to developing best practices, training materials, and sustainability plans for the AmeriCorps VISTA program at
CHRISTUS
Health. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have reliable transportation. Must be dedicated to participating in a one-year, full-time national service assignment.
