Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic multifamily property management team. In this role, you will support the overall operations of residential communities by assisting with leasing, tenant relations, administrative tasks, and property maintenance coordination. Your energetic approach and customer service skills will help foster a positive living environment for residents while ensuring operational efficiency. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily property operations, including lease or rental agreement management, rent collection, and tenant communications Processing applications using property management tools like Yardi and OneSite Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and legal documents in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Landlord-Tenant Law Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management tasks to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment Assist in budgeting processes, expense tracking, and financial reporting related to property management activities Support conflict management efforts by addressing tenant concerns professionally and escalating issues when necessary Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members via phone etiquette and client relationship management practices Skills Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems Strong understanding of Landlord-Tenant Law, Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 programs Experience with real estate administrative tasks including data entry, filing, contracts, and legal documentation Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution tactfully Knowledge of lease or rental agreement management, property leasing strategies, and upselling techniques Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment with office experience preferred Familiarity with property maintenance coordination, facilities management, budgeting, negotiation, and sales techniques Strong team management skills coupled with effective communication skills for client interaction and conflict resolution Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional housing experiences. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
