Job Description
Assistant Property Manager Join a team where people, service, and excellence matter. We're looking for an energetic and organized Assistant Property Manager to help lead daily operations at a thriving apartment community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to a positive and professional team culture. What You'll Do As the Assistant Property Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting property operations and helping create a welcoming community for residents and prospects alike. You'll work closely with the Property Manager while gaining valuable leadership and property management experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and prospective residents Answer incoming calls and respond professionally to inquiries Tour apartment homes and showcase community amenities Qualify prospective residents and process applications Collect and manage rent payments, deposits, and application fees Maintain accurate resident files and records Receive and coordinate maintenance requests Assist with weekly reports, traffic reporting, and occupancy tracking Stay informed on local market trends, rent pricing, and competing communities Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional leasing office Support daily operations and assist with additional property needs as assigned What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: Friendly, professional, and customer-service driven Highly organized with strong attention to detail A strong communicator both in person and over the phone Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented Comfortable using office equipment and computer systems Capable of handling confidential information professionally Qualifications Previous property management, leasing, or customer service experience preferred Reliable transportation required Ability to work independently and support onsite staff when needed Strong problem-solving and communication skills Physical Requirements This role may require: Walking apartment homes and the community regularly Climbing stairs, bending, stooping, lifting supplies, and light office upkeep Standing, sitting, and moving throughout the workday Frequent communication in person and via phone/email Why Join Us?
