Job Summary Join our dynamic property management team as an Assistant Property Manager specializing in multifamily residential communities. In this energetic role, you will support the overall operation of the property, ensuring exceptional resident experiences, efficient leasing processes, and smooth administrative functions. Your proactive approach and customer service skills will help foster a vibrant community environment while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in property management tools and leasing strategies within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination to ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction. Support lease or rental agreement management by preparing, reviewing, and executing contracts with prospective and current residents. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to input data accurately, generate reports, and streamline administrative workflows. Handle client communication professionally via phone and email, addressing inquiries about leasing options, rent payments, or maintenance requests with enthusiasm and clarity. Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant Law, and other legal requirements through diligent record-keeping and documentation. Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses, processing invoices, and supporting financial reporting activities. Support conflict management efforts by mediating resident concerns effectively while upholding community standards and policies. Coordinate property maintenance activities with vendors and internal teams to ensure facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Skills Proficiency in property management tools such as Yardi, CRM IQ for data entry, reporting, and operational efficiency. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and lease management procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone etiquette and client interactions. Experience in real estate administrative functions including filing, contract management, data entry, and office organization. Ability to handle conflict resolution professionally while managing multiple priorities in a team environment. Familiarity with property maintenance coordination and facilities management practices. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to upsell rental units or ancillary services to prospective residents while maintaining ethical standards. $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
