We're seeking an exceptional Residential Property Director to lead the residential operations of our newest mixed-use development featuring 354 luxury apartment homes , 110,000 square feet of office space , and 50,000 square feet of retail . This is a rare opportunity to help shape one of the area's premier mixed-use communities from the ground up. This role is far more than traditional apartment management. Success requires a leader who understands that the residential experience is directly influenced by everything happening throughout the property. You'll partner closely with the project's General Manager, who oversees the commercial components, to create a seamless experience for residents, tenants, retailers, and guests. You will:
Lead all residential leasing, operations, financial performance, and resident services. Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing onsite team. Create an exceptional resident experience that drives satisfaction and retention. Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. Manage operating budgets, forecasting, expense control, and NOI performance. Work collaboratively with the General Manager to coordinate operations across residential, office, retail, parking, amenities, events, and common areas. Ensure residential operations align with the overall vision and branding of the mixed-use community. Build productive relationships with office tenants, retail operators, ownership, vendors, and community partners. Anticipate operational challenges and develop creative solutions that balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. Foster a culture centered on hospitality, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. What Makes This Role Different Unlike a traditional apartment community, this position requires someone who can successfully operate within a dynamic mixed-use environment. The ideal candidate understands how residential operations intersect with commercial activity and enjoys working across departments to create one cohesive community experience. You'll regularly collaborate on topics such as: Resident and tenant experience Community programming and events Shared amenities and common spaces Parking operations Building access and security Operational planning Marketing and community activation Success comes from balancing the priorities of multiple stakeholders while never losing sight of delivering an exceptional resident experience. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in multifamily property management. Experience leading high-performing onsite teams. Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and NOI management. Proven success driving leasing performance and resident retention. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving ability. Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
